A new 95-acre business park has been announced on 6200 South between 3200 West and Bangerter Highway. After unanimous approval by the Taxing Entity Committee, this property offers a new, uncongested and dynamic location for companies needing to expand or move to the center of the Salt Lake Valley.
The Bennion Point Business Park is zoned for business, research and development and fills an existing void in the central and western quadrant of Salt Lake County for flex, light industrial and office space.
The proposed land uses include: 57 acres flex, light industrial and office space; 14 acres single family; 9 acres neighborhood commercial; with the remainder making up open space, roads and a park. The site is projected to accommodate about 700,000 square feet of commercial buildings and approximately 1,000 employees at build-out.
Incentives from tax increment financing is available as approved, up to $14 million and will be reimbursed annually.
Taylorsville City is actively seeking light industrial, flex and office users – including data centers, back office, financial, indoor manufacturing and assembly, corporate and distribution.
