Mayor Jerry Rechtenbach gave his Mayor's Report. He reported that the ChamberWest Job Shadow day will be held at City Hall on March 22, the city's annual awards banquet will be held on March 27, and he has been receiving applications from residents who are interested in leadership positions on the newly-created community councils.
Doug Hattery from the Wasatch Front Regional Council, along with UTA representatives, gave a report on long-term transportation plans for Utah. They said that Utah is probably the only state in the country that puts together plans for all areas throughout the state. Their current plan combines plans from all the other entities and the current plan goes until 2040. This helps to prioritize funding needs and see potential shortfalls. The state legislature uses this plan to address funding for transportation.

The council adopted the one year action plan for Community Development Block Grant Funding.
