Tuesday, August 6 is the National Night Out Against Crime. Taylorsville is celebrating by hosting a citywide event at City Hall - 2600 W. 5325 S. from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Booths, demos and free hot dogs are part of the celebration to teach public safety and send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are fighting back!
The Unified Police Department will talk to attendees about setting up neighborhood watches. There will also be a K9 demonstration. The Unified Fire Authority will have burn pan and a smoke house demos and educate on fire safety.
This event has been put together by Taylorsville's Public Safety committee. We'd like to thank Peggy Sadler and her committee for all their hard work. We look forward to a fun and informative event!!
